xmas tree

when im young..i had always wanted a xmas tree...it such a nice feeling to be watching the shimmering lights on the trees and hanging up the accessories...happen to chance upon a thread started by my friend in a dog forum one day...she say theres a place that sell xmas items at 50% discount and 5 foot xmas tree at $18...i then told silver about it and after calling my friend, diana, to ask for the exact location...we decided to pop by and grab some stuffs...

indeed that place is packed with people who have already started shopping for xmas..although its a small unit but the items they are selling there consist of alot of choices...i spend a total of $100+ abit and happily went home with my items...finally i had my dream come true...a xmas tree!!!!

ice cream waffles

silver brough me & bel to henderson for dinner....nothing special to eat there so no pics for our main meal lolz....i had nasi briyani, bel had roti prata and silver had nasi goreng ikan billis...

silver then ordered one strawberry ice cream waffle for bel in case she dont feel full enough after the 2 miserable piece of prata..

when the waffle arrives...it looks so delicious and nice...i gave it a try at bel's waffle and decided to order another one for myself too *giggles* =P

silver then help me order another chocolate ice cream waffle...he ordered a slightly bigger one cos we will be sharing...and i tell you...its heavenly nice lor...waffles are crispy and hot....as im typing im drooling now hahahaha

got to bug him soon to go back for the waffles again kekeke

hmmm...

went party world at oriental with jolene, silver,bel,ping & teck 2 days back...we reach at 12am+ and sing all the way till 3am...after that we had supper at chinatown chang chen porridge and sat till about 5am..

the main point is actually not the karaoke session we had...its bcos my good friend,jolene,was feeling rather down due to some of her personal issue which i shall not mention...i hope she can take good care of herself...we'll always be there for her if ever she needs someone to talk to...

ok...enough of that...

just help isabel post in her secondary school preference...she got 148 for her PSLE aggregate and got into normal (technical).....im still glad she can get to secondary school...

studies nowadays are really tough...but i have to admit bel is not really interested in her studies haiz...im really worried for her future at times...

made the choices of the school as below :

2nd : fairfield methodist
3rd : queenstown
4th : new town
5th : bukit merah
6th : chij st theresa

now i have to wait for moe to sms me the confirmed choice of school she get into...

new way of suicide?

i believe all singaporeans have read and heard about this incident..the suicide case at singapore zoo...

could this really be a suicide case? if he had wanted to commit suicide...why choose this method? why did he use the pail to cover his head? he regretted jumping in? lots and lots of questions remain unsolved.

i wouldnt say he is dumb or stupid...it does take alot of courage to do this act (if he is really thinking of suicide)...if its the other way...he drop into the tiger enclosure...then i must admit he is calm in a way...

i've seen the clip provide by the witness...its indeed disturbing although no gruesome scene is recorded...why would this be happening?

Dr B’s Genuine Aussie R.A.W. Diet

after trying out some samples given to me by anan...i've decided to change my chihuahua's diet to Dr B’s Genuine Aussie R.A.W.

i do know that dogs are the descendants of wolves and they are able to take on raw food readily...my old man kenji used to be on raw diet too...but due to some reason...i change them all to kibbles diet few years back..

it was only until anan pass me a few packets of Dr B's kangaroo patties, cos her wawas are not interested, and to my anticipation...both of my wawas love it very much therefore i decided to place my order with alfred...

since my babies had already tried kangaroo recipe, i ordered rabbit recipe and combination recipe (combination recipe had beef, lamb, chicken, pork etc)...both of them take in the new flavour happily...and of cos after changing their diet to raw food...i can see the changes too...poo getting lesser (and i mean really less) and their pee dont smell anymore...its really a fantastic creation...save lots of troubles on marketing for owners like me...

i've also ordered Dr B’s Genuine Aussie R.A.W. Turkey Recipe for my fatty cat, misha...and yes...cats are from the cat family (tigers,leopards,cheetahs etc) and its not surprising my cat loves raw meat too hahaha...but bcos my cat kibbles still left alot...i've feed misha raw meat on alternate days...

a quick update

finally...i've manage to drag my lazy ass to yawen's place and have my nails done on the 17th nov...the last visit i went was on the sept 11th which was 2 months ago lolz...been really busy and when im free to make appointment...she's fully booked :/ that explain the duration of 2 months dragging...

busy busy busy~

it seems that alot of people are busy...no time to update their blog...that includes me too of cos hahaha...

1stly i would like to congratz my bra de on his ROM...finally he decided to settle down...im happy for him...some hiccups on the day he ROM thats why i didnt attend...sorry about that...

2ndly...im finally going to change my nails on the 17th nov which is this coming monday...since the last nail art which is 2 months ago...my nails have really grown very long le lolz....this time round i ask yawen to help me put on her silver lover 2...looks damn chio kekeke...will update pics once i had it done =)

3rdly...linda says we are going to a dog shelter (nanas) in jb this sunday...but till now she didnt get back to me...haiz...they ar...forever so draggy :/

bel will be coming home from her korea trip this sunday...life without her is indeed quiet...hahaha..when bel told me her dad is going to give her 10,000 won few weeks back...i thot he so good...gave her so much...after i check the rates conversion...i really (-_-")....10,000 won change to sgd is actually only $11...and that $11 is the global rate hor...if go to money changer...they only give u 8200 for sgd$10...see how much they earn :/

anyway both me and silver are thinking...with about sgd$10...what can she buy in korea? people go oversea confirm wanna buy things de mah...if everytime wanna buy things must see their face...might as well dont go...no doubt she is just a 12 year old little girl...but still..im sure she does have the urge to buy some nice little accessories be it for herself, my mum, me or silver...going oversea without money to buy anything you like is a torture lor...so i decided to change sgd$50 to let her bring along...i guess she told my mum about it and my mum chip in another sgd$50 too...haha...she happy like toad =P

in another 3 days time, i will see her...guess she must have alot of things to blog about her trip...lets await for her updates ;)

johor dragon dance competition result

went with boon to watch the competition...he pick me rather late and i was so worried we will be late for the comp if there's a jam...lucky us...the whole journey is smooth...when we reach there...the comp haven started yet kekeke...

congratz to kangkar pulai nam hwa for getting the 1st in the 竞技舞龙 competition tonight...it was splendid hahahaha...although grand champion still belongs to them...it doesnt matter anymore...now they no longer dare to belittle nam hwa again...

finally jb longshi is out of the scene liao...can u imagine their faces when the head judge announce out the marks? hahahaha...immediately...old man receive a call from their head asking did he come in to watch the comp...i guess he must be wanting to confide in old man hahaha...cos i heard from old man that that fox call roland and complain...saying its impossible that nam hwa marks outshine them blar blar blar...as usual la...only they can be the champion and no one else...

你们也有今天。。。真是老天有眼 lolz

i remember telling kaka...its a curse...whoever that betray old man will suffer a very worse fate...i've seen alot...dunno why...i just find it eerie...

anyway im so happy that nam hwa have finally get a result for themself...the kids have train hard...kaka didnt waste his time either...its worth it...

after the comp, boon, me, alex and 2 of rixing ppl went for dinper (dinner cum supper) hahaha...we went to one of a 煮炒 in sentosa...i must say alex recommendation on their 老鼠粉, curry fishhead and bbq chicken wing is really delicious...all 5 of us had a sumptous meal...must go back again for more lolz...

actually they wanted to wait for my bra de to come in to jb and drink de...but bcos everybody is tired and dont really have the mood...we head back to sg...

now is already 4.26am...im getting sleepy...will continue again...nitez all...sweet dreamzzzzz

dragon dance competition - johor

went with old man, his wife, minlong and jingwen to watch the dragon competition last night at johor...overall i would say most of the troupes taking part are consider of good calibre...but the way they dance is definately different from our singapore style...

a total of 14 troupes involved...in the end "yayal awal" got the champion...hmmm...2nd is "pontian hwa zhong" and 3rd i cant recall its who already hahahaha...cos all their names very long... =P

dunno izzit due to my contact lens (for cosmetic purpose) or its becos im tired...halfway through the competition...i keep seeing 4 eyes in a dragon lolz....

"shan nan shi" from johor is back for the comp again...but this time round i must say they have really improved...can really see that they've really trained hard for this event...

saw lots of old friends there last night but didnt really have a chance for some catch up cos all of them are rather busy...anyway im going in again tonight to watch "nam wah"...although more or less we already know what the result will be...but still....must support mah lolz...

cab voucher

couldnt remember where am i going...boarded a city cab and as im waiting to reach my destination...i saw an advertisement just right infront of me at the back of the seat...it says "win $20 taxi voucher"...in my mind of cos im thinking...where will i be so lucky...but nevertheless, i decided to give it a try...took out my handphone and key in the cab number follow by my NRIC number...forward the sms to 76333...

few days passed and seriously...i have totally forgotten about all these...i then received a call from a lady saying i am among the fifteen lucky winners and got myself a $20 taxi vouchers..."fwah! so lucky meh?" was the 1st thought that came to my mind...the lady then ask me to give her my last 4 digit NRIC number to verify...took my address for the mailing too...

after about 4 to 5 days...i finally received my vouchers...it comes in 4 pieces of $5 vouchers...although its not a big amount...but still its better then none hor hahahaha

tried sending again after my winning but somehow i didnt received any calls again...maybe alot of ppl send the sms to try their luck or its simply bcos they only allow one time winning...anyway...im glad i am lucky lolz...
